Dublin City University is a modern university based on the north side of Dublin city with over 10,000 students. Two of the leading research centres within the University are involved in this project – Research Institute for Networks and Communications Engineering (RINCE) and The National Institute for Plasma Science and Technology (NCPST).


The work will be supported by the microelectronics research laboratory within RINCE which hosts an Oxford Instruments RIE tool in a class 100 clean room, and the National Centre for Plasma Science and Technology which has extensive facilities, diagnostic tools and personnel to support plasma based research.
